Abstract: The Islamic Human Development Index (IHDI) is calculated using various methods. This paper contemplates most elegant aggregation method for computing IHDI using a set of axioms. The old measure of IHDI taking a linear average and Bayesian Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) of the five dimensions indulges cross-country data. These two methods provide a powerful system to choose number of indicators for contemplating the relationship of latent variables. We propose an alternative aggregation measure, where IHDI is the inverse of the distance from the desirable level which is set by Foster-Greer-Thorbeke (FGT) deficiency measures. This measure, in addition to the above-mentioned methods, also satisfies multidimensional measures where responses are in ordinal form.

Abstract: The flow of FDI in Bangladesh has been increasing at a faster rate over the past few years. This paper examines the impact of FDI on the county's export, employment generation, and gross domestic product (GDP). This paper found FDI has a positive relationship with the export sector while incoming FDI has not any positive effect on employment generation. It has also been observed that local private investment has a greater impact on the GDP growth of the Bangladeshi economy than FDI. There is also inequality between sectors in terms of FDI inflows. The manufacturing and power sector attracting higher FDI whereas agriculture, services, trade and commerce are neglected. It is important to mention that barriers such as weak infrastructure, low skilled labour force and labour unrest, social and political instability discourage foreign investors from investing in the country. So, it is time to pay attention to these problems and search for remedies to attain a higher level of FDI.

Abstract: Investment professionals at the NSE are believed to be rational and base their decisions on traditional finance models such as the modified portfolio theory. Recent studies have however shown the existence of behavioral biases and found that they affect the way investment decisions are made. This study therefore sought to determine the influence of behavioral biases on professional investment decision in Kenya. Abstract: Iran during the last 35 years exists under international sanctions. In 2016-2018 Iran increased oil exports from US$ 36.49 to 61.41 billion. The sanctions and COVID-19 pandemic reduced oil exports, which is assessed to be only US$ 8.04 billion in 2020. Sanctions caused the back effect they aimed to achieve: Iranian society lost a hope for the better future. Abstract: While in 2020 the world economy was predicted to grow by 3.3% and after 2.9% growth in 2019, the outbreak of the coronavirus in China upset the world and shocked the fragile global situation. Abstract: Corporate finance and portfolio management has always been an essential aspect of finance. Statis-tics and other mathematical tools govern these concepts.
